"KANNAWIDAN" THE YLOCOS FESTIVAL

Filipinos are said to be fund of feasts or festivities, and in the many places in the Philippines, there are many different kinds of festivals which they usually celebrate every year. And in Vigan which is my hometown, we also celebrate one of the most important fest which we call the Kannawidan. For those who don't know the meaning of Kannawidan, it is a great feasts or feasts of all the heritages in Vigan. Vigan also has many different historical landmarks which most tourists visit during vacations, Vigan also has great variety of foods which very delicious and also nutritious. So celebrating Vigan festival not only means having a great feast but also showcases and promotes the different products of it. Vigan is a very important place, it is one of the most fascinating places i the Philippines, so let us do all our vest to take care of it. SO that many of our future generations will also have the opportunity to use it for a better Vigan city.   

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

Sixteen years have passed and still there is more to come. More challenges to face, more people to meet and dreams will come true. My high school moments are nearly at end, somehow I still don't know what to do when I've already graduated. Sometimes, when I've already made up my mind, more comments and suggestions arrive and then I get more and more confused about it. How I wish that time would just stop so that I can spend more time with my friends and have more time to decide into what will I be in the future. But being with my friends, my future now is somehow little impossible. Playing and learning in school, I have now made up my own list of dreams which someday I will fulfill and accomplish. One is for us to have our own company which we will call "Fuentebella Group of Companies", and of course I will be the president, I also dreamed of having my own modelling TV show and I will be the host, seems impossible is it, you might think that these things only happen in dreams and in fantasies, but I will make sure it will come true, we will work hard and someday it will come. On the other hand, I would want to be a pharmacist someday or maybe a doctor or even an accountant. How I wish someday I would become one of these three ambitions I have said. But time will tell, maybe with a little faith, trust, hard work and pixie dust, I will make these dreams a reality.
